Greg Curbow, was a friend of mine, and I knew him when he had his shop up in Morganton GA, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He was an imposing guy in build, but was a sweetheart of a guy, and he loved guitars and had just sold his bass design to Cort when I met him, and he loved to talk about his Rockwood necks that he used to say dont really need a truss rod but I put them in just because ! He also loved Bartolini pickups due to their quietness and their high fidelity sound!
