Fender Stratocaster 1958 - Black Krylon Newer Tweed Hardshell Case

A wonderful guitar in its own way and a tragedy in a lot of other ways! A highly modified 1958 Fender Stratocaster with Sliders Vintage Classic Pickups from Australia ! Still has the original phone book capacitor it seems, changed pots, the body was bathtub routed very crudely, and the bridge assembly changed, new CTS pots and switch installed! I dont know why they did all of that I was not in on the decision this is how we got it ! Painted with Krylon it appears due to no runs drips or errors ! But its Krylon not lacquer not like Leo did it ! So that leaves the neck ! And what a wonderful small v all original finish it is, original tuners and that V feels so amazing in your hand and the lacquer is just addictive ! Dated Jan 58 or 1-58 and appears to have been refretted at least once ! The original serial number is on the back side of the neck plate I dont what happened to the original neck plate, and it has a very sloppy copper shielding job done. Neck is nice and straight and feels amazing !
