Jerry Reed, Glen Campbell, Dave Mason all played Ovation Classicals at one time or another, this is such a great playing guitar and unlike just about every Ovation I have seen from this time, this one has no cracks and no binding issues and plays great ..so the neck is not coming out of it !! The pickup sounds good and strong the only issue is the stacked knob volume tone control does have a crack in it ….and may need to be creatively super glued ! Neck is straight the action is perfet and the original cases is in great shape as well ….these are affordable vintage !!!
