Peachtree St in Atlanta. I thought I had heard of every guitar shop in Georgia but I have never heard of that one! It comes with the original white Hardshell case, with the shroud cover for it, it plays really good, it has a short somewhere if you move one of the wires thru the lower F hole you can hear scratchy sounds coming from the neck pickup, the letter from Jerry itself is a treasure! The current owner traded Jerry a Gretsch white Falcon he wanted for this one back in the early 1960's! We are selling this for the owner who is an Atlanta musical treasure himself and a was a most very fine player in his own right as well as being Chet Atkins nephew! No binding rot!! Which is so special and rare for any 1950's Gretsch I wish I could sell this to Brian Setzer he needs this one!! The easiest playing guitar I have ever played has the brass Bigsby bridge which intonates perfect!!

Gretsch 41710 Country Gentleman 1961 #41710 Owned by Chet Atkins w/Grover Imperials w/OHSC USED

A heavily modded instrument with a rich history! Formerly owned by Chet Atkins, this guitar has had a third toggle switch added, and it has a hole in the pickguard for a another switch that is no longer installed. The input jack was moved, but you can still see where the old jack was. This guitar was played a lot and definitely wears it on its sleeve. This guitar is owned by family of Chet, who rescued it from a trash can at Chets house. This was the guitar he used while playing caravan of the stars style shows, where one band backed up a lot of artist for personal appearances, they were not called concerts back then ! This guitar has had a repair in the back where there was a bus wreck and the doghouse bass headstock punched a hole in the back of the guitar case also punching a slight hole in the back for the guitar ! The guitar is owned by an elderly member of Atlanta Music royalty and we are trying to help the family out by selling these to worthy folks who will appreciate them for what they are !!
